Common questions

Q: Is a modular home a mobile home/trailer?
A: No, a modular home is a custom built home that sits on a permanent foundation. Once set on the foundation there are few characteristics that will distinguish it from a traditional home. It is real property that appreciates in value over time.

Q: How long does it take to build?
A: Depending upon the size and complexity of your project, we can build your home in our factory in four to eight weeks. The site work can be done simultaneously, making the foundation ready at the same time your house is completed in our factory. After the house is set on the foundation, it can be complete and ready to move into after and additional four to eight weeks. As a result, a modular-built home may be ready for you to move into 2-4 months after beginning production.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: There are a lot of variables that may affect the cost of your project. We offer construction on just the modular portion of your home as well as turn-key solutions. If you will be doing the site work yourself, you can expect a home to cost between $65 - $80 a square foot with our standard materials included. If we are providing a turnkey solution, you can expect the cost to be $100 - $130 a square foot. Variables such as the style of home, location, and size may affect the total price per square foot, while material upgrades and unusual site conditions may increase the cost of the overall project.
